After going through some stuff this week, a good friend told me to commit to prayer. She pointed to a scripture when I told her I was unsure of what to say:

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eyes on you.” Psalm 32.8

I decided to meditate on it and pray about it. God showed me that when He is our counselor and instructor, He will never lead us astray. Everything that happens is according to His will, and who knows what’s better for you than God?

Unfortunate events may happen, causing sadness and distress, but that is acceptable; after all, we are human. Although it may be agonizing, it is crucial not to linger on such feelings. Allow yourself a brief moment of sorrow, and then rise again! Keep this scripture in mind. He will never lead you astray. Therefore, express gratitude. He is the only one who truly has your best interests at heart.

So, as you embark on this week, bear this in mind!

It is also important to remember that not all angels have wings. If my friend hadn’t shown me that Bible passage, I never would have found it. She served as the vessel through which God communicated with me. That’s what an angel is. A being through which God communicates with us.

In my eyes, she was an angel.
